WASHINGTON, D.C. — Indivisible Action, one of the leading national grassroots organizations, announced Project 2024: Majority Over MAGA – Indivisible’s plan to flip the House, protect the Senate, reelect President Biden, and mobilize a majority against the anti-democracy, anti-abortion politics of MAGA (see the full memo here):
“We’re at a crossroads. One path leads to a democratic trifecta that codifies abortion rights and passes democracy reform. The other path leads to the implementation of MAGA’s plan for making Trump a dictator, in his words, ‘on day one,’” said Ezra Levin, co-founder and co-executive director of Indivisible. “After mobilizing a grassroots movement to build the Blue Wave in 2018, defeat Donald Trump in 2020, and stop the supposedly inevitable red wave in 2022, Indivisible is launching Project 2024: Majority Over MAGA to build a new democratic trifecta. Although Democrats are being heavily targeted with Republican messaging on inflation and immigration, we know that they care about democracy and reproductive freedom—and if they turn out based on those issues, we will win.”
“The 2024 election is an uphill battle for Democrats. It’s a national election, but we all know that control of the House, Senate, and presidency will come down to strategic and tactful conversations with voters across a small subset of states,” said Leah Greenberg, co-founder and co-executive director of Indivisible. “To win, we will need to make sure voters are focused on the issues where Democrats hold a competitive advantage, specifically, fighting MAGA extremism on democracy and abortion. Through Project 2024: Majority Over MAGA, Indivisibles across the country will work to turn out a winning electoral coalition with special tactics to reach key groups. This program is rooted in the strength of the thousands of local Indivisible groups across the country and a groundbreaking innovative strategy for voter engagement.”
Project 2024: Majority Over MAGA is broken into four strategic pillars, including support across 21 key House races across the country, and providing support for groups local narrative-shifting work with local op-eds, and attention-grabbing media events.
Indivisible will also be scaling up a canvassing model called 'Neighbor 2 Neighbor,' which is already showing really good results—as much as two times as impactful as traditional canvassing at turning people out.
In addition, Indivisible will be doubling down on its investments in Arizona by supporting the grassroots network across every county of the state that is collecting signatures to get abortion access on the ballot, and helping them pivot to federal electoral targets in the summer.

Indivisible is one of the country’s largest and most influential networks of grassroots activists. In 2018, Indivisible made its mark as one of the driving forces behind the “Blue Wave” that swept Republicans out of office. In 2020, Indivisible served as a progressive voice for Democratic unity, and later became a national hub for pandemic volunteer activity, setting up the cycle’s “Best No-Contact Field Program” according to Campaigns & Elections. In the 2022 midterms, Indivisible dug in to defend Democratic incumbents in the House. Echoing President Biden’s forceful message about protecting our democracy, Indivisible helped draw attention to GOP extremism in key states.
In 2023, Indivisible groups in vulnerable House Republicans’ districts spent the off-year getting local press coverage about the incumbents’ weaknesses, holding so-called moderates accountable for their party leadership’s worst bunkles and disrupting freshmen Members’ attempts to establish their positive local brands.
