The Indivisible Project Announces New Ad Campaign Focused on Impeachment

Washington, DC — Today, the Indivisible Project announced a  digital ad buy focused on impeachment, building on the organization’s efforts to remove Donald Trump from office as quickly as possible. See the ad here.

The organization will invest $340,00 into digital video ads, supplemented by static graphics. The sixty-second video ads detail the accusations facing Trump in clear terms, explaining that Donald Trump invited foreign interference into our elections, held necessary foreign aid hostage for political gain, and took great steps to cover it up. The ads urge constituents to call their members of Congress and demand a fair and open trial begin as soon as possible. 

“We must move forward with an impeachment inquiry because nobody is above the law. These ads will help drive more concerned constituents to call on these key lawmakers to put country over party, supplementing on the local organizing work of Indivisible activists,” said Sarah Dohl, Chief Communications Officer.  “These members of Congress will have a clear choice--either stand and defend Trump’s criminal behavior or stand with the majority of Americans who want them to protect our democracy and the integrity of our elections.”

In addition to the ads, which will run in the House and Senate districts listed below, Indivisible has been mounting an escalating pressure campaign on Members of Congress. Over the summer and the recent congressional recess, Indivisible activists have demanded answers at town halls, bird-dogging candidates at public events, and organizing rallies and protests at officials’ offices. Indivisible in blue states have also been phone banking to constituents in target areas to drive more calls to key congressional offices to reinforce this message--no one is above the law.
