Following the momentum gained during ‘Impeachment August,’ the groups are calling on all House Democrats to express explicit support of the House Judiciary Committee’s impeachment inquiry and implore Chairman Nadler to increase the urgency with which his committee investigates Donald Trump’s criminal activity.
As momentum continues to grow for impeachment during ‘Impeachment August,’ a coalition of grassroots organizations led by Indivisible, MoveOn, Need to Impeach, and Stand Up America is ramping up pressure during the August congressional recess to demand that lawmakers immediately begin a formal impeachment inquiry into Donald Trump.
Today, the Indivisible Project launched its campaign to end the filibuster. The campaign aims to demystify the filibuster and have the Indivisible community pressure their senators and the 2020 presidential candidates to eliminate the filibuster. Indivisibles are also provided resources to help them record videos about progressive priorities that the filibuster is hindering and to submit letters to the editor about the issue.
Today, the Indivisible Project released results from a recent survey of Indivisible group members and supporters gauging support for Democrats beginning impeachment proceedings.

With the compromise legislation that was passed today, the Florida state legislature has undermined the historic initiative, which passed with 65% of the vote, to re-enfranchise 1.4 million returning citizens in Florida.
